Ranbaxy gains FDA approval for generic form of GSK's Augmentin |

LONDON (AFX) - Ranbaxy Laboratories Ltd's unit Ranbaxy Pharmaceuticals said it has been approved by the US FDA to market its Amoxicillin and Clavulanate Potassium drug at the dosage 600 mg/42.9 mg/5 mL in oral suspension, for the treatment of ear infections.The drug was determined to be a therapeutical equivalent of GlaxoSmithKline's Augmentin drug.newsdesk@afxnews.comabrCOPYRIGHTCopyright AFX News Limited 2006.
