BRUSSELS (Thomson Financial) - The European Commission said it has no objections to two investment projects by Tallinn Airport, as they do not fall under its state aid rules. The projects will be financed by Tallinn Airport Ltd. and co-financed by the Cohesion Fund. The projects cost 35 mln eur and 32.7 mln eur respectively. As the investments are co-financed by Tallinn Airport Ltd through its own revenues or through resources found by the company without State intervention, the commission considers that this investment does not constitute State aid.The investments are geared at rehabilitating the Tallinn airport airside area, upgrading the Tallinn airport passenger terminal and constructing a veterinary border inspection point.frances.robinson@thomson.comfr/cmrCOPYRIGHTCopyright AFX News Limited 2007.
