UK DMO auction of 1 bln stg in index-linked gilts covered by bids 1.71 times

LONDON (Thomson Financial) - The UK's Debt Management Office said its auction of 1 bln stg in index-linked gilts maturing in 2037 was covered by bids 1.71 times.

The DMO received a total of 1.71 bln stg in bids for the gilts, which carry a yield of 1-1/8 pct.

The strike price was 96.54 stg with a real yield of 1.262 pct, the DMO said.
