AUSTIN, Texas (AFX) - Semiconductor maker SigmaTel Inc. said Thursday John Hime has resigned from the board of directors.The company did not give a reason for the departure in a statement. Hime had served as a director since 2003.SigmaTel shares rose 2 cents to close at $3.90 on the Nasdaq. They dropped 56 cents, or 14.4 percent, to $3.34 in aftermarket trading, as the company said it swung to a fourth-quarter loss on one-time charges and falling revenue.Copyright 2006 Associated Press.
