WASHINGTON (AFX) - The U.S. Army on Thursday awarded a $59.6 million contract boost to Raytheon Co. for Patriot anti-missile anti-aircraft system.Raytheon will provide technology upgrades on the PAC2 system.The company will perform the work in Andover, Mass., by April 30, 2009.Shares of Waltham, Mass.-based Raytheon gained 66 cents to finish at $52.56 on the New York Stock Exchange.Copyright 2006 Associated Press.
