FAW-Toyota Motor sets 2007 sales target of 260,000 sedans - report

BEIJING (XFN-ASIA) - FAW-Toyota Motor Co, a joint venture between Toyota Motor Corp and First Automotive Works, one of China's largest vehicle makers, aims to sell 260,000 sedans in 2007, up 16.6 pct over 2006, a Chinese newspaper said.

The Tianjin Daily said FAW-Toyota sold 223,000 sedans in 2006, up 42 pct over 2005.

FAW-Toyota, which is based in the northern city of Tianjin, aims to sell over 450,000 cars by 2009, the newspaper added.
