(1888PressRelease) November 04, 2009 - Hentsch and Muller, a direct access brokerage firm, one of Hong Kong’s fastest growing financial services companies, has appointed foreign exchange specialist and writer Albert Ashby as Hentsch and Muller's new chief economist.

Albert Ashby has over 25 years experience in global financial markets. This is a new position to provide macroeconomic research to Hentsch and Muller's ever expanding client base and increase it's media exposure. The appointment is effective immediately.

Albert Ashby was recently running his own private foreign exchange research house in Frankfurt and will be based in Hentsch and Muller’s Hong Kong office.

“The man once voted the ‘most accurate forecaster of currency markets’ worldwide in the quarterly survey, is a fantastic addition to Hentsch and Muller,” said Walter Hentsch, CEO of Hentsch and Muller.

“Albert’s experience spanning over 20 years with a number of the major global banks will strengthen Hentsch and Muller’s research capability. His presence will also reinforce our position as one of the leading boutique financial services providers within Australia.”

Bennett wrote the trading aid “Warrior Trading: Inside the mind of an elite trader”, which takes a different stance on trading using eastern philosophy. It is a realistic and psychological approach to the markets. These differing views on the market appeal to investors especially in these volatile times.
