December 21, 2009 - The National Notary Association the voice of America's 4.8 million notaries public and the largest professional organization of notaries in the nation has named longtime Tennessee notary Samantha Klaburner as a 2009 Notary of the Year. Each year, the Association chooses only notaries in the country to receive special recognition based on exemplary and sound business practices, superior ethics and strong dedication to using their notary commissions for the public good.
Notaries honored by the National Notary Association are individuals who demonstrate the highest degree of public service, an exceptional level of professional and ethical conduct and a personal commitment to excellence.
Ms. Klaburner's professional life is an extension of her larger commitment to serving her community. Samantha Klaburner co-founded the National Association for the Safety of Teenage Drivers, a non-profit group dedicated to keeping young drivers safe on the roads. Ms. Klaburner has also done outreach and support for families with loved ones affected by brain cancer, helping them find information and seek out treatment options. Klaburner gives tirelessly of her time to those in need she has been assisting families with their mortgages and closing transactions of more than 135 per month at the peak of the mortgage business.
The National Notary Association presented the award to Klaburner during a special ceremony held at its 31st annual conference, June 9-12, 2009.
Klaburner has been recognized as the Top Mortgage Producer for RGMI and is now consulting for several start up businesses across the country.
