Savers “disillusioned” with ISA returns
ISA investors are “disillusioned” with the returns they are receiving on their savings, Barclays claimed this week.
The bank blamed the frustration on historically low interest rates.
The 0.5% base rate has caused many investors to rethink their approach to the financial marketplace, Barclays said.

Barclaycard to close office in Glasgow with loss of 350 jobs
Barclaycard has today confirmed it is to close its loan centre in Glasgow this summer, which will result in the loss of 350 jobs.
The centre, which is located at Academy Park on the city’s south side, deals with loans arranged at the point of sale in shops.

Top ISA deal pays 3.5%

RBS posts £3.6bn annual loss
Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS), which is 84% state-owned, has today posted a full-year loss of £3.6 billion.

Ombudsman complaints continue to rise
