PointAI Founder and CEO outlines how proprietary AI research, physics-based virtual try-on and enterprise-focused technology could shape the future of digital commerce and personalised experiences.
London, UK, 23 October 2026: Indian technology entrepreneur Nitin Vats, Founder and CEO of PointAI, presented his vision for the commercial applications of artificial intelligence at the House of Commons, Westminster, London, on 22 October 2026. Speaking at a session titled “AI for a More Inclusive Tomorrow”, Vats highlighted the growing role of original research, proprietary intellectual property and practical AI applications in shaping the next phase of technological innovation.
The event was presented by The Integration Foundation and hosted by Dr Rupa Huq MP, Member of Parliament, UK House of Commons. Vineet Malhotra, Senior Journalist and Founder of Yellow Turf Media, chaired and moderated the discussion. The panel also featured Tom Coates, Professor of Mathematics at Imperial College London and Founder and CEO of Bessemer AI, and Kir Nuthi, Head of AI and Data Policy at techUK.
During his address, Vats discussed the evolution of PointAI from a research-led technology venture into a company developing Simulation AI solutions for digital commerce and enterprise applications. He explained how the company uses mathematical modelling and physics-based simulations to create realistic digital representations of people and products, enabling more interactive online experiences.
A key application of this technology is virtual try-on, where AI-powered simulations model how garments behave across different body types. Unlike conventional digital product displays, the approach aims to recreate the physical characteristics of clothing in a virtual environment, helping consumers make more informed purchasing decisions. Such applications could also offer businesses opportunities to improve digital customer experiences and address challenges associated with online product evaluation.
Vats emphasised that India’s opportunity in the global AI economy lies not only in adopting existing technologies but also in developing original intellectual property and research-driven solutions for international markets.
“The future of AI will not be decided only by who has the biggest model. It will be decided by who has the right mathematics, and the courage to prove it,” said Nitin Vats, Founder and CEO of PointAI.
PointAI holds a portfolio of more than 70 granted patents across the United States, South Korea and India. Its intellectual property spans virtual try-on, digital human generation, 3D product visualisation and interactive digital showrooms. The portfolio reflects the company’s focus on building proprietary technology that can be applied across multiple industries, particularly fashion, retail and digital commerce.
Beyond its current commercial applications, Vats outlined opportunities for Simulation AI in sectors such as education and accessibility. He discussed the potential of personalised learning systems that adapt teaching methods to individual students, allowing the same concept to be explained through different approaches based on how learners process information.
He also highlighted the need to make digital experiences more inclusive, particularly for individuals with visual impairments, through technology that can make digital information more accessible.
Another area of discussion was enterprise AI infrastructure and data ownership. Vats highlighted the importance of enabling organisations to deploy AI systems within their own environments, giving businesses greater control over their data while exploring the potential of AI-driven operations.
The discussion reflected a broader shift in the AI industry towards solutions that move beyond general-purpose models and address specific business requirements. For companies operating in digital commerce, retail and enterprise technology, the ability to combine AI with proprietary research and real-world applications could become an important differentiator.
PointAI’s participation at the House of Commons brought its research-led approach to an international platform, while placing India’s emerging technology and entrepreneurship ecosystem within the wider conversation on responsible, accessible and commercially relevant AI innovation.
